How mobile banking works

MOBILE BANKING FEATURES

Mobile banking is simple to use. Basically once you log in, you can begin banking.

For those who would like some tips on accessing all of the features, here are a few options available to you:

Choosing accounts

Mobile banking allows you to view all of the accounts available on your online banking account. By default, all accounts will be visible.

If you would like to change the accounts you are able to view, just go to the Options tab in online banking under Mobile Settings. At the bottom of the screen, check or uncheck accounts to make them visible or to remove them from your mobile banking screen. Click Submit, then Confirm to complete the task.

Login

After launching the app, you will be brought to the login screen. Enter your Optima Online Banking ID, which either can be the same as your online banking ID or a pseudo name. Press Submit. You then will be prompted for your password and also should see your security image on the screen. After entering the password, press Submit.

Locations Feature

The login screen has a Locations feature. Selecting that option will give you the option of displaying Branch Locations, ATM locations or both. The search can be done by City, Zip Code, or GPS (selecting the circle icon).

My Accounts

After successfully logging in, you will be brought to the My Accounts screen. This screen shows current balance, as of the close of business on the previous business day. It allows users to select Transaction to view transactions on each account.

Transfer

The Transfer screen allows the user to transfer between accounts and also initiate Interbank Transfers. When Choose Account is selected, a list of accounts, including Interbank Transfer accounts, is shown. New Interbank Transfer bank accounts must be added through online banking. They may not be added from the mobile app.

Pay Bills

The Pay Bills screen allows you to make bill payments to existing Bill Pay payees. Payees cannot be added from the mobile app. If you are not enrolled in Bill Pay, you will be prompted to enroll.

The More Screen

The More screen provides access to Deposits, Alerts and Locations.
